CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 2026-R11; A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND MANAGE AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOERNE AND CITY OF POST TO ALLOW THE SHARING AND USE OF COMPETITIVELY PROCURED CONTRACTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 791 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE.

This resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Post. The agreement, made in accordance with Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, allows both cities to share and utilize competitively procured contracts. This collaboration is intended to provide additional purchasing options and achieve cost savings for taxpayers in both the City of Boerne and the City of Post. Each city will be responsible for its own payments directly to vendors, and will manage its own contract compliance and enforcement. The agreement has an initial term of one year and will automatically renew annually unless terminated with 30 days written notice.
